A small cynical creature working for the Parliament.

Description

Jerry is a small red creature with wrinkled skin, two legs and a trunk. The legs and the trunk end with a thin cilia. There are two eye sockets from where the same type of cilia comes out but each branches into two tips. If killed, two more of him will spawn in his place.

Jerry's role in the Parliament isn't clear, but he was seen by the Isaac next to three Flesh Doors. Slobs usually passed him by and asked questions, Jerry giving useful directions around the Flesh Maze where they were. He is very bored of his job and resents existence. Although the Parliament's goals match with his desires, he doesn't hold them in high regards as they still didn't keep their promises and are yelling about a whole load of nothing without achieving any significant progress. He doesn't go up against them as it would prove useless in his views.

We meet Jerry again in Dr. Man's ruined office when Issac used Perceptual Projectification whilst in the company of Fern, Willis, and Magdolene. Jerry was then interrogated by Magdolene & Fern, & revealed some interesting information about The Parliament. You can view the interrogation here. Then an Ottoman attacked them, at which point the Buzzers convinced Fern to throw Jerry at it, to no avail.

"Jerry is the kind of "person" who might live in an all-consuming biomass the way some bored working class schlub lives in a sprawling city. He's a cog in a machine, and he doesn't really care either way except to complain about it."

• In his icon's file name he is called "Fleshroot".
• His design is heavily inspired by the aesthetic style of artist Mark Powell's meaty Dream Dioramas, which were also the inspiration behind SCP-610.
